Summer Wind Collective was created to bring people together and provide a sense of escapism. While quarantined at home in Michigan, McKenzie found joy and inspiration from old photos discovered in her Papou's basement and the stories that went along with them.
Named after her families boat, Summer Wind serves as a space for celebrating the magic and simplicity of summer. The feeling of summer is undeniably electric. Summer Wind aspires to create an environment that keeps that feeling alive all year long, treating summer as a lifestyle instead of a season; sprinkling summer into your every day life, no matter the month.

McKenzie's Papou (grandfather in Greek) was raised in a small village near Sparta, Greece. From his experiences there, he instilled the importance of always contributing and working together to get something done. McKenzie started Summer Wind with this phrase in mind, hoping to create a collaborative platform and a community of individuals from varied backgrounds and generations to celebrate summer.
